LIYSF: STEM Learning | STEM Programme In The UK

Safety is a top priority at the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF). The forum follows an independently verified safety assessment protocol and a student protection policy that covers every participant, whether under or over 18. All staff are recruited through strict checks, trained and bound by a code of conduct. A staff member attends every programmed event, and 5 to 8 staff live in each residence, which has a 24-hour staffed reception. A first aider, a mental health first aider, a Student Welfare Officer and a 24/7 emergency phone line support students throughout. Students wear a lanyard with emergency information at all times.
