As a tall traveler, here is how I’d think about it:
- Comfort+ gives extra legroom (roughly 34 inches of pitch on many widebodies), but the seat itself is the same width as Main Cabin.
- Premium Select has around 38 inches of pitch on widebodies, more recline, plus a leg rest and footrest, so you can stretch out more.
- Flight length matters. On 3 to 5 hour flights, Comfort+ may be enough. On overnight flights, Premium Select makes a bigger difference.
- Check the seat map. Pitch and width change by aircraft.
If your budget allows, Premium Select is the most comfortable of the two for long trips. This Delta Comfort+ vs Premium Select comparison explains the difference.
